U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett announced 14 endorsements for Texas city, county and legislative races with FIRE PAC, but omitted Democratic U.S. Senate nominee James Talarico. He defeated her 53% to 45% in March’s Democratic primary.
Released Monday with FIRE PAC, the endorsements include Letitia Plummer for Harris County judge and Darrell Jordan Jr. for Harris County district clerk. Crockett said Democrats need more legislative, city and county seats to advance priorities including public-school funding, expanded Medicaid and stopping data centers.
On CNN last month, Crockett said she would campaign with Talarico only to boost down-ballot Democrats and that she was more likely to avoid campaigning with him altogether. Talarico is seeking to defeat Republican Ken Paxton in November’s Senate election.
