A burst pipe in Crawley has left around 9,000 Southern Water customers without water or with low pressure and flooded roads. Southgate Avenue, Crawley Avenue and part of the A23 are closed as crews repair it; bottled-water stations are being set up.
Southern Water said the affected areas are Woolborough Road, Holmcroft, Southgate, Tilgate and Furnace Green. Sussex Police asked people to avoid the area around Southgate Roundabout while emergency services manage the incident.
