On the Sept. 24 “Today” show, Dylan Dreyer said she had asked Craig Melvin off camera whether he uses a GLP-1 injection. Melvin joked she thought he should take one; he confirmed losing some weight but did not confirm or deny using the medication.
The question came during a discussion of fast-food chains catering to customers using GLP-1 injections; the segment said 1 in 10 Americans use a GLP-1 for weight loss. None of the “Today” anchors have publicly confirmed taking the drugs; Jenna Bush Hager said in 2025 that she had not taken the shot.
