Louisville has scored at least 38 points in each of its first three games, while Wake Forest kept Miami close into the second half last week. Syracuse hosts Louisville on Oct. 17. A nor’easter is expected to move through Massachusetts for Virginia Tech’s game at Boston College, potentially bringing cold, heavy rain and strong winds; the preview says those conditions could suit the Eagles.
The rest of the listed slate includes Bucknell at Pittsburgh, Central Arkansas at Florida State, William & Mary at Duke, Central Michigan at Miami, Appalachian State at NC State, Missouri State at No. 22 SMU and Georgia Tech at Stanford. Syracuse is also scheduled to face NC State in mid-November and SMU on Halloween, and visits Boston College in late November.
