Carrot Top, 61, was discharged after about a week in a Las Vegas hospital and is recovering at home with family, a source close to him told PEOPLE. PEOPLE reported he was hospitalized after a suicide attempt on Sept. 18. His Las Vegas residency remains paused.
Live Nation lists performances from late September through Oct. 11 as canceled; an Oct. 19 show remains for sale, but the listing is not an official return announcement. Thompson, his representative and the Luxor have not confirmed when he will perform again.
On Sept. 20, Thompson's representative said he was awake, breathing on his own and surrounded by family and others close to him. His family thanked fans for their support and asked for privacy; Thompson has not made a public statement since leaving the hospital.
