Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins left the Week 2 game against Jacksonville with what coach Sean Payton called a hamstring injury. Reporter Mike Klis later said it was leg cramps; Denver's first Week 3 practice report listed Dobbins limited with a hip injury.

Klis reported Tuesday, citing a source, that Dobbins had leg cramps in the game and said there was optimism Denver had avoided a serious setback. The Broncos' other backs were also hurt: RJ Harvey had a hamstring injury and missed Week 2, while Jonah Coleman sprained an ankle against Jacksonville and was not listed as limited in practice. Tyler Badie was the only fully healthy running back on Denver's active roster.

Dobbins has missed 54 of 103 possible regular-season games since entering the league in 2020, including seven regular-season games and two playoff games last season.
