For Week 3, Raiders TE Brock Bowers is questionable while recovering from a knee injury after missing the first two games; Eagles TE Dallas Goedert is not expected to play with a sprained MCL, and Washington TE Chigoziem Okonkwo is out with a hamstring injury.
Bowers underwent a knee procedure for a meniscus issue and has avoided a significant injury, according to the report. Coach Klint Kubiak said Bowers’ planned Friday absence followed limited practices Wednesday and Thursday. The team will not work him out pregame this week, unlike last week.
Goedert missed the first two practices of the week. ESPN’s Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter reported he has a sprained MCL and is expected to miss a few weeks; ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said he is expected to avoid injured reserve and return within four weeks. Okonkwo missed Week 2 and was ruled out again after not practicing this week. Since he has not been placed on injured reserve, the article says he should return next week or the week after.
