After Arizona's 31-7 loss to Seattle, quarterback Jacoby Brissett defended Marvin Harrison Jr. by pointing to Michael Wilson's offseason contract. Wilson, whose three-year deal averages $25 million a season, had two catches for 18 yards on seven targets.
Wilson is in his fourth season with Arizona and has seven receptions for 74 yards through two games. Against Seattle, Brissett completed 17 of 28 passes for 95 yards, one touchdown and one interception, down from 277 passing yards against the Chargers in Week 1.
The Cardinals entered Week 3 at 1-1 and were due to visit the unbeaten San Francisco 49ers, who were 2-0.
