Jaxson Dart will miss the rest of the season, while Brian Burns is likely to miss time after a low ankle sprain Monday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported. Burns missed Wednesday’s walk-through; Andrew Thomas and Malik Nabers participated ahead of Sunday’s Titans game.
Schefter said Burns is not expected to need surgery. Burns recorded 16.5 sacks in 2025, and Kayvon Thibodeaux will take on a larger role without him. Thomas reportedly has a groin/adductor injury, while Nabers played Monday despite a shoulder injury. Banks, who missed that game with a calf injury, continued working on the side with a member of the training staff.
The Giants had not added a quarterback to replace Dart as of Wednesday. Jameis Winston and Jake Haener were the only quarterbacks at practice, and official practice statuses had not yet been released.
