The Atlanta Braves beat the Cincinnati Reds in the 10th inning on a walk-off single by Dubón. In his final regular-season start, Chris Sale struck out 10 to reach 200 for the season; Matt Olson’s sixth-inning homer and Austin Riley’s seventh-inning homer each tied the game.
Sale allowed a leadoff home run to Brito but settled in and reached 200 by striking out Sal Stewart in the sixth. Cincinnati retook the lead in the seventh on a sacrifice fly after Matt McLain tripled.
Ha-Seong Kim’s sacrifice bunt moved DaShawn Keirsey Jr., who started the 10th on second, to third. Drake Baldwin was then hit by a pitch before Dubón’s chopper single brought home the winning run.
