The Denver Broncos face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football after both won in Week 2. Bo Nix said the Rams’ veteran front and added cornerback depth will test Denver; Aaron Donald has returned from retirement, while Myles Garrett is out with a Week 1 injury.
The Rams traded Jared Verse and draft picks to Cleveland for Garrett, who was injured in the Week 1 game against San Francisco. Los Angeles also acquired two-time All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie and signed Jaylen Watson, his former Kansas City teammate.
Nix said Donald is still getting back into the swing of things and expects his playing time to increase as the season progresses. Denver’s interior offensive line will be important in limiting Donald’s pass rush, according to the preview.
