Six people reported missing after a Friday-morning explosion were found dead Saturday, when their bodies were recovered after a two-story building collapsed in Athens’ Plaka neighborhood. Two people in an adjacent building were injured; the blast’s cause is under investigation.
Plaka is a popular tourist neighborhood near the ancient Acropolis, and the blast sent debris throughout the block. The victims’ identities had not been released.
