Totnes Castle is draped in a 150m rainbow flag for Pride

Totnes Castle was covered by a 150m (492ft) rainbow flag on Saturday during a four-day Pride festival. 400 people gathered as 30 flag bearers unfurled it at 10:00 BST; organiser Ceri Goddard said the display was intended to show queer people have always been in Totnes.

The four-day programme includes live music, art, cinema and family events. Goddard said English Heritage helped with planning and that the flag had been lent to Totnes Pride by Torbay Pride.
