Russian strikes killed four people in Ukraine on Saturday, officials said, and a Ukrainian drone attack killed three in Russia’s Krasnodar region, local officials reported. The attacks also injured two in Krasnodar and six in the Kyiv area.
In Ukraine, two women died after being trapped beneath rubble of their destroyed home in Zaporizhzhia; a separate Russian attack killed two in Sumy, officials said. Russian drones injured four people in Kyiv and damaged residential and office buildings. Another strike set a warehouse ablaze in the Boryspil district, injuring two. Russia’s Defense Ministry said the Kyiv attack damaged a data center supporting cellphone internet and Starlink communications.
In Krasnodar, Gov. Veniamin Kondratyev said Ukraine’s drone attack sparked fires at two industrial sites but gave no further details. Russian media later reported that an oil refinery was targeted.
