Arizona beats Colorado, keeps wild-card elimination number at two

The Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Colorado Rockies to keep their National League wild-card hopes alive, with their elimination number still at two. They can catch Philadelphia by going 4-0 while the Phillies go 1-3 or worse, or by finishing 3-1 if Philadelphia loses all four.

To catch the Cubs or Padres, Arizona must go 4-0 while that rival goes 0-4. Kelly said the team needs “a little bit of a miracle” and has to win every day.
