A new search for missing Oakland coffee shop co-owner Amy Hillyard starts Sunday on five previously unsearched hiking routes. Her family’s investigator says Chrome data showed she viewed eight hiking routes the day before she disappeared; whether she took any is unknown.
Hillyard, 52, was last seen around 2 p.m. on March 25 near the 500 block of Radnor Road. Officials believe she left home alone without her phone or other belongings. The eight routes stretch from the Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park area to Berkeley, about five miles from her home; Fischer said she had hiked all but one, and investigators had searched the three they previously knew about.
Fischer said the only confirmed footage shows Hillyard leaving her home. Her family is offering $25,000 for information leading to her safe return.
