TMXN Games has delayed Among Shadows, an asymmetric social deduction game, from its planned Sept. 24, 2026 Steam Early Access debut to Q4 2026. Its next demo will run during Steam Next Fest from Oct. 19 to 26, and Early Access is priced at $10.99.
Players act as Envoys of the Order of the Secret Fire, choosing from 10 jobs inspired by real-world cultures as they investigate a plague-ridden kingdom and try to defeat three corrupted bosses within three in-game days. They must vote to purify infected wells, while hidden Underworld Apostles can sabotage the effort. Nightly Judgment votes let players call out suspected traitors; if the Infection Score gets too high, a Blood Moon unleashes undead hordes on the final day. The game is slated to support English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese at launch.
