The Washington Commanders elevated linebacker Ale Kaho from the practice squad for Sunday's Week 3 home game against Seattle. Frankie Luvu is out with a groin injury and Jordan Magee is on injured reserve, leaving Kaho among the linebacker reserves.
Sonny Styles and Leo Chenal are expected to play most of the interior snaps, with Kain Medrano and Kaho in reserve; Kaho's elevation also bolsters special teams. This is Kaho's second elevation, out of a maximum of three. He will return to the practice squad after the game; if called up again, Washington would have to add him to the 53-man roster or release him.
Friday's injury report also ruled out quarterback Jayden Daniels with an elbow injury, right guard Sam Cosmi with a concussion, safety Nick Cross with an illness and tight end Chig Okonkwo with a hamstring injury.
