A’ja Wilson accidentally knocked a WNBA staff member to the ground as the Las Vegas Aces entered the court before their 100-82 win over the Phoenix Mercury on Thursday, Sept. 24. The unidentified staffer got back up.
A fan-recorded clip circulating online shows Wilson leading the Aces through the tunnel and colliding with a staffer standing behind a curtain. Fans reacted audibly, and Wilson’s teammates appeared shocked.
The Aces are scheduled to open their first-round playoff series against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 27.
