Jerome Ito and his wife, Linh Tran-Ito, soft-opened the restaurant and bar at Yutori in Palo Alto on Sept. 24, adding dinner service to their Japanese cafe, convenience store and hot deli. Nearly all weekend tables were booked immediately, Lily Peng said.
Yutori is at 3375 El Camino Real. Dinner runs 5:30–9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and 5:30–10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The cafe and konbini are open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ito describes the menu as California cuisine with Japanese influences; dishes include wagyu nori crisp and cauliflower katsu. Weekend brunch will likely begin in early 2027.
