CarGurus COO and President Samuel Zales sold 10,000 Class A shares for a weighted-average $34.62 each, or $346,200, on Sept. 15, 2026, under a pre-established Rule 10b5-1 plan. He retained about 455,000 directly held shares, a 0.47% stake.
The SEC Form 4 filing says the plan was established in advance, allowing insiders to schedule stock sales. CarGurus shares closed at $33.75 on Sept. 17; the company’s one-year total return through the sale date was -3%.
CarGurus reported second-quarter revenue of $251 million, up 13% year over year, and said its Guru artificial intelligence tool helped increase consumer leads by 60% from the first quarter.
