UConn and UMass have moved a football game originally scheduled for 2025 to 2029, according to FBSchedules. They are still set to meet this season on Friday, Oct. 23, at the Rent.
The all-time series is tied 38-38, with two ties. UConn won the last three meetings, from 2022 through 2024, and has won five of the teams’ seven games as FBS programs.
A previous meeting was moved to accommodate UMass’ move to the MAC. The Minutemen have eight conference games on their annual schedule, and the MAC is moving to nine conference games in 2028.
