Chef Aaliyah Puglia was voted out in the two-hour premiere of “Survivor 51,” leaving 20 castaways, ages 24 to 49, competing for $1 million. A coin flip could add another $1 million to the winner’s prize.
Still competing are Alexis Levine, Ana Sani, An “Thien An” Nguyen, Angelica “Jelly” Loblack, Brady Booker, Carter Krull, Cristian Chavez, Danny “Kilby” Kilby, Devin Way, Eric Macksoud, Jenna Doore, Kristin Flickinger, Lewis Kelly, Linnea Capobianco, Maggie Nestor, Mike Pinsky, Ori Jean-Charles, Patt Cannaday, Rob Antonson and Sharonda Cox.
Season 51 is the first in the show’s “Open Era,” when events from past seasons can return at any time and in any order, host Jeff Probst said. If the coin flip for the additional $1 million is lost, that money rolls over to the next season.
