The White House’s 24/7 Trump TV livestream had fewer than 700 viewers Thursday, while a rain-sounds stream recorded more than 4,000 views and a wildlife feed drew over 2,000 viewers; a black screen with box-fan noise also briefly outdrew it.
Launched Monday, the stream runs Donald Trump’s past speeches and other events around the clock. Thursday’s broadcast was his May 2025 speech at the University of Alabama’s graduation ceremony.
The launch came days after Trump barred CNN, MSNOW and Politico from the White House; the outlets argued in a lawsuit that the ban violated their First Amendment rights. A federal judge temporarily reversed the ban Thursday, allowing reporters from all three outlets back. Critics, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom, compared Trump TV to state-run media.
