Donald Trump reportedly asked the PGA Tour to speak for 15 minutes at the first tee before Sunday's Presidents Cup final matches in Medinah. Neither the Tour nor the White House confirmed the request; the Tour said it is preparing for a possible visit.
Trump announced in August that he had accepted the PGA Tour's invitation to serve as Presidents Cup honorary chairman for a second time. A review of previous Cups found no president speaking before the final rounds; Bill Clinton spoke for about six minutes before the 2000 opening ceremony.
