Cleveland Browns coach Todd Monken said he has “a tonne of respect” for Mike Tomlin and admitted he got caught up in the moment when he answered the former Steelers coach’s joke after Cleveland beat Tampa Bay in Week Two, moving to 1-1.

Tomlin made the “the Browns is the Browns” quip after Cleveland’s opening-day loss to Jacksonville. Monken said narratives are changed by playing and coaching better; the Browns were heading into a Week Three game against Carolina.
