Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor reaffirmed his commitment after Nick Saban said he would try to get him into the transfer portal if he were still coaching. Taylor threw three touchdown passes in the Bulldogs’ 31-24 upset of No. 19 Missouri.
Asked after the win about speculation he might leave, Taylor said he dislikes discussing it during the season, adding, “If you know me, you know I bleed maroon and white.” Saban made his remark on College GameDay. Through four games, Taylor has completed 69.2% of his passes for 14 touchdowns and two interceptions. Mississippi State faces Alabama next week; Taylor is not NFL Draft-eligible until 2028.
