Texas PAC, the Senate Leadership Fund's Lone Star State super PAC, added more than $35 million to its previous $65 million in TV-ad reservations. CNN's generic-ballot poll showed Democrats ahead 49%-41%, while NPR/PBS News/Marist found a 53%-41% lead. In New York, Siena found Gov. Kathy Hochul leading Bruce Blakeman 50%-41%, largely unchanged from a month earlier.
In Minnesota, Republican Senate nominee Michele Tafoya denied saying she was embarrassed to be from the state, but a social-media post in which she said so was later deleted. In Michigan, former Republican Rep. Mike Rogers mocked Kamala Harris' visit, calling her a “failed candidate who lost in Michigan”; Rogers also lost in Michigan. In Ohio, Rep. Max Miller's campaign threatened legal action against stations airing a Democratic challenger's ad about domestic-abuse allegations Miller denies, but the stations continued running it.
