Peter Schrager denied being barred from The Bill Simmons Podcast, saying he and Simmons talk regularly. On Jimmy Traina’s podcast, Schrager said he is limiting media appearances to focus on his ESPN show, “Big Day with Peter Schrager,” and does not want his comments aggregated.
Earlier this month, Simmons said Schrager was banned from his show after Schrager appeared on Pardon My Take while promoting his ESPN program. Schrager said he believed Simmons’ comment was tongue-in-cheek and denied that he was unable to appear on the podcast.
Schrager suggested that coverage of his absence from Simmons’ podcast could promote his show better than appearing on it. He also asked Awful Announcing to review the show rather than aggregate his comments about Simmons.
