SB Nation’s Week 2 NFC standouts are Seahawks QB Drew Lock, Rams WR Davante Adams and Panthers LB Devin Lloyd. Lock threw for 422 yards and four TDs in two wins; Adams had 195 yards and two scores, while Lloyd had a sack, two interceptions and a pick-six.
Lock took over after Sam Darnold suffered a glute injury five plays into Seattle’s opener. Lock’s 127.3 passer rating through two games was the NFL’s highest among quarterbacks who played at least 20% of their teams’ snaps.
Adams’ performance came with Puka Nacua sidelined by a hip injury; coach Sean McVay called him the Rams’ WR1. Lloyd was the third player in the last 20 seasons to record a sack, multiple interceptions and a pick-six in one game, according to NFL Research, joining Charles Woodson (2009) and Zach Brown (2012).
