Texas coach Steve Sarkisian says the Longhorns must plan for headsets and coach-to-player communications to be cut without warning whenever President Trump enters, leaves or changes locations inside the stadium during Saturday’s game at Tennessee.
The White House confirmed Trump’s attendance Wednesday. Sarkisian was Alabama’s offensive coordinator when Trump attended its 2019 game against LSU. Tennessee is advising fans to arrive much earlier than usual because of added security.
ESPN declined to comment on whether Trump would appear on College GameDay; it announced Knoxville native Johnny Knoxville as the show’s guest picker.
