Report: Caleb Williams expected out 3–4 weeks with Grade 2 hamstring injury

The Bears ruled out quarterback Caleb Williams for Monday’s Eagles game after he hurt his right hamstring against Minnesota. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported, citing league sources, that the Grade 2 injury is expected to sideline him for three to four weeks.

Williams was injured late in Chicago’s 9–3 loss to the Vikings in Week 2 and left midway through the fourth quarter. He did not practice before the Eagles game; coach Ben Johnson had described him as week-to-week.
