Aaron Donald played 33 snaps and made three tackles, one for a loss, in the Rams’ 28-6 win over the Giants, his first game back after a two-year retirement. Coordinator Chris Shula said Donald’s snap total Sunday at Denver will depend on how the game unfolds.
Donald watched the game tape six times—twice alone, once with his brother and three more times alone—and said he had things to clean up, though it was not as bad as he expected. Shula praised his pressure on the quarterback and his work against the run. Donald said he likes the current rotation and is regaining his feel for the game.
Receiver Puka Nacua (hip) missed practice for a second straight day. Coach Sean McVay said Wednesday he was unsure whether Nacua would play against Denver and later told ESPN radio that Nacua was not making great progress. Tight end Colby Parkinson (knee) and safety Kam Kinchens (hamstring) also did not practice.
