No. 20 Oregon beat No. 12 USC 41-27 after Dante Moore left with a head injury in the second quarter. Backup Dylan Raiola threw for 289 yards and two touchdowns, including a fourth-down completion that set up Jordon Davison’s touchdown run with 2:03 left.
USC coach Lincoln Riley went for it on fourth-and-7 from midfield with the Trojans trailing by seven and 7:15 remaining; Jayden Maiava’s pass to Zacharyus Williams was incomplete. Four plays later, Oregon converted fourth-and-3 when Raiola hit Evan Stewart for 15 yards, then scored four plays after that.
Moore was hit by USC linebacker Desman Stephens while sliding; Stephens was ejected for targeting. Moore was transported by cart to an ambulance and taken to Los Angeles General Medical Center. He reportedly had movement in all his extremities after the hit.
