Model Presley Gerber, son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, died at 27 on Sept. 20. He suffered cardiac arrest after a suspected overdose at a sober-living facility and had spoken about his history of addiction.
A source close to his sister, model Kaia Gerber, told People the family was “in total shock” and “saddened beyond words.” The source said Kaia admired Presley’s openness about his struggles and that the family was proud he was finding strength in helping others. Another source close to Cindy Crawford said she and Rande had supported Presley and done everything they could to help him.
Presley’s girlfriend, Lexi Wood, paid tribute after his death, writing that he would always hold a special place in her heart and that he would be missed.
