A poll ahead of Week 3 of the 2026 season found 89% of surveyed Seahawks fans expected Seattle to beat the Commanders by at least nine points; 36% predicted a win by 17 or more, while 6% thought Washington would pull off an upset.
The survey also found 96% of respondents confident Seattle was headed in the right direction. The Seahawks had set a franchise record with 12 straight wins, including playoffs, after beating Arizona in Week 2. Sam Darnold was set to return against Washington, while starting safeties Ty Okada and Julian Love were expected to miss the game; the article said neither injury appeared long-term.
