Planet Labs co-founder reports $1.8 million disposition of 106,000 shares

An SEC filing says Planet Labs co-founder Robert Schingler disposed of about 106,000 shares worth $1.8 million on Sept. 15 and 17. Of these, 54,117 were withheld for taxes on vested stock units; 52,240 trust-held shares were sold under a prearranged plan.

The 52,240-share sale from the Ulysses Trust 02021.1 was made under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan established April 23, 2026. After the transactions, Schingler held about 889,000 shares, including 638,627 unvested restricted stock units. The reported post-transaction value was about $15.1 million, based on the Sept. 17 closing price of $16.99.

Planet Labs reported record revenue of $116.1 million in its fiscal second quarter ended July 31, up 58% year over year. It forecast fiscal third-quarter revenue of about $101 million to $105 million, compared with $81 million in the prior-year quarter.
