Leahy has not reached the fifth inning in any of his past five starts. On Sept. 18, he gave up five hits and six earned runs over three innings in a 9-1 loss to Washington; against Pittsburgh on Aug. 29, he allowed one run over three innings in a 6-2 loss.
The Pirates lost 10-5 to the Cardinals at PNC Park on April 30, their most recent visit there; Skenes lost to St. Louis in that game. The game will be broadcast on KDKA AM/FM and Sportsnet Pittsburgh.
