Milan Iloski’s hat trick powered Philadelphia Union to a 4-2 win over Orlando City, extending their club-record unbeaten streak to 12 games (10 wins, two draws). Since the 2026 World Cup, the Union have also matched the MLS record for a 12-game span with 32 points.
Iloski raised his season tally to 16 goals and six assists, putting him in the MLS Golden Boot conversation. His second hat trick of 2026 made him the third Union player to record multiple hat tricks in a season, after Dániel Gazdag and Julián Carranza, who did so in 2022. Iloski’s first hat trick this year came against Inter Miami in May.
Philadelphia were without Cavan Sullivan, Neil Pierre and Frankie Westfield, who had made their US men’s national team debuts in a 4-1 win over Peru. Interim coach Ryan Richter viewed the trio as key contributors to the Union’s climb from last in the Eastern Conference at the World Cup break to sixth and into playoff contention. Philadelphia next host Real Salt Lake on Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
