The Patriots visit Jacksonville Sunday, Sept. 27, with their 1 p.m. ET kickoff forecast around 83°F and temperatures reaching 85°F. A slight chance of second-half showers is expected; humidity is not expected to exceed 30%, with gusts up to 11 mph.
The forecast would end New England's run without an 80°F-plus game since a trip to Miami last September. The Patriots' first two games this season kicked off at 74°F in Seattle and 63°F in Foxborough.
Jacksonville's first opponent, Cleveland, played in 90°F weather with humidity in the 60s and lost 34-10. Patriots defensive tackle Milton Williams said Thursday that staying hydrated was important and that he planned to wear a hoodie at practice to get accustomed to the heat.
