Jalen Brunson’s SNL opening monologue featured Knicks starters Karl-Anthony Towns, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby as audience questioners; Anunoby went viral with a deadpan callback to his Game 4 tip-in game-winner.
Anunoby asked Brunson if he remembered missing a late Game 4 shot and what happened next. Brunson said Anunoby tipped it in, prompting Anunoby’s “Oh yeah. That was awesome.” The appearance continued the Knicks’ media tour after they hoisted the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Towns joked he couldn’t foul out of the show, while Bridges showed off his wingspan and said he’d “never fly.”
