Indiana’s new secondary faces Northwestern’s offense, led by quarterback Aidan Chiles and coordinator Chip Kelly, after the Wildcats scored 75 points in two games. Cornerback A.J. Harris is doubtful; Jamari Sharpe is back, and Ryland Gandy has filled in.
Chiles transferred from Michigan State this offseason and has three rushing touchdowns in two games. Receiver Griffin Wilde has eight catches for 189 yards so far; he led Northwestern with 880 yards and eight touchdowns in 2025. Running backs Caleb Komolafe and Joseph Himon II have combined for nine receptions and 125 yards, with Himon adding three receiving touchdowns.
Kelly’s offense also challenged Indiana in 2024, when Ohio State beat the Hoosiers 38-13. Buckeyes quarterback Will Howard completed 22 of 26 passes and found seven receivers. Indiana safety Preston Zachman is entering his first Big Ten game with the Hoosiers.
