Prime Video’s trailer shows Nicolas Cage as John Madden and Christian Bale as Raiders owner Al Davis. The film traces Madden’s path from Raiders coach to TV commentator and the Madden NFL games. It opens in select theaters Nov. 11 and streams globally on Prime Video Nov. 18.
Kathryn Hahn, Sienna Miller, John Mulaney and Shane Gillis also star. David O. Russell wrote and directed the film. Its official synopsis frames Madden and Davis’s friendship and Raiders partnership as central to the story.
