James Talarico sees 28-point swing in Texas Trump stronghold: Private poll

A private poll puts Talarico 11 points ahead of Paxton in Texas Senate District 9.

Quorum Report described the survey as an internal Republican poll, with Talarico at 52% and Paxton at 41% among 600 likely voters surveyed September 10–15; the margin of error was 3 percentage points. Trump carried the district by 17 points in 2024. Quorum said it published the results without explaining how it obtained them or releasing the polling memo.
