Don't call it a recall: Dodge orders repairs for batch of Demon 170s to stop possible engine damage

Dodge is arranging repairs for 345 Demon 170s over a defect that could damage engines.

The Customer Service Notice covers a crankshaft damper and bolt issue affecting 345 of the 3,300 cars produced for 2023. Dodge says continued driving could damage other engine parts and confirmed some failures in the field. It will pay to transport affected cars to dealerships. Owners can check Mopar’s CSN lookup; the campaign is not a recall.
