Fishing boat reels in large US military drone off Florida coast

A Florida fishing captain found a military drone while charter fishing in Gulf waters.

Daniel Arsenault said active-duty military helicopter pilots with him identified it as a target drone. Eglin Air Force Base told AFP the LUCAS drone “impacted the water” during scheduled testing on Sept. 17. A spokesperson said it was recovered and returned to the Defense Department.
