Republican support for Trump’s handling of war in Iran shows cracks in new CNN poll

A CNN poll finds opposition to the Iran war deepening and GOP support for Trump slipping.

In the SSRS survey of 1,206 adults conducted Sept. 16–17, 26% approved of Trump’s handling of Iran, down from 33% a month after the war began. Republican approval fell from 73% in March to 60%; 78% overall said Trump was not doing enough to end the war.
