Kentucky man who took home $167 million lottery jackpot arrested again

Kentucky jackpot winner James Farthing was arrested again, his fifth arrest since his 2025 win.

Deputies found the 51-year-old asleep in a running car at a Georgetown Walmart early Sunday and said he showed signs of intoxication. He was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place; the Scott County case is pending. Farthing won $167.3 million in Powerball in April 2025.
