Former Disney child star sentenced to more than 2 years in federal prison

Former child star Bobb’e J. Thompson was sentenced to over two years in federal prison.

Thompson pleaded guilty in April to possessing a firearm. Authorities said he was arrested last fall after being stopped for driving 104 mph in Iowa, where officers reported finding a loaded handgun and marijuana in the vehicle; police said the gun had been reported stolen.
