Iran live updates: Trump says team met with Iran delegation at UN

Trump said his team held a three-hour meeting with Iran's delegation at the UN.

Speaking to reporters alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Trump called it a “very good meeting” and said he could not imagine why Iran would reject a deal. Earlier at the General Assembly, he threatened to “annihilate” Iran if it did not agree to end the war.
